This may not spell the end of GW2 gaming for those currently using Apple's products since their accounts will not be erased, banned or made unavailable in any other manner. On top of that, the future Mac computers will be designed with a new chipset in mind which will cause further problems with compatibility which will make support "very costly and difficult" for ArenaNet since they would need to work with both the old and new processor designs.
